2008 World Series Schedule

Though we don’t yet have a final World Series Schedule to post, we do know that either the Boston Red Sox or the Tampa Bay Rays will face the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series starting Wednesday October 22.

As of Thursday night–October 16th–around the 6th inning of the ALCS we had a post already drafted about how the Rays swept the Sox and would go on to play the Phillies in a week, but after the Red Sox late game comeback, we obviously had to change gears. The Rays and the Red Sox will play again on Saturday night on TBS at 8:07 to determine who goes on to the final round. If the Sox lose the Rays go on to the World Series, but a Red Sox victory will force a game 7 of the ALCS.

Stay tuned for all the updates, but we already know the dates and times of the World Series games, and we already know that all of the games will air live on Fox in High Definition. Here’s the schedule as it stands.
