College World Series Finals Start June 23
The College World Series Finals start tonight on ESPN 2 at 7 PM EST. The Best-of-Three series moves to ESPN on Tuesday the 24th and remains on ESPN if the third game scheduled for 6/25 is needed.
Most of the World Series Games leading up to this final series were on ESPN and ESPN 2 in High Definition, but due to a rain-out on Saturday, ESPN opted to broadcast the final playoff game between North Carolina and Fresno State on ESPN Classic Sunday, making it unavailable in HD.
Maybe if ESPN re-brands ESPN Classic as ESPN 3 and adds HD capability this sort of problem can be avoided in the future.
