De la Hoya vs. Forbes - Sat. on HBO HD
HBO will air World Championship Boxing: Oscar De la Hoya vs Steve Forbes in full high definition on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 PM ET. The event will be the inaugural fight at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles and marks De la Hoya’s first return to HBO since 2001.
De La Hoya is the heavy favorite, with 8-1 odds. Howeverr, his contender, Steve Forbes, is no push-over. He was a finalist on “The Contender,” and Forbes has been compared to a Floyd Mayweather Lite.
