Major League Lacrosse HD Games on ESPN 2
For the second consecutive year, ESPN 2 will broadcast Major League Lacrosse in HD. Five live games will be broadcast in 720p high definition and an additional 6 games will be shown in HD on the network, but they will be tape delayed.
ESPN 2 has been broadcasting the pro lacrosse league since 2003, but it was not until 2007 that were the pro lacrosse games were shown on HDTV. This year’s MLL HD schedule includes 2 regular season games, the All-Star Game, the National Semifinals and the Championship which will be broadcast live. The season opens on May 23rd when the Rochester Rattlers face off against the Boston Cannons.
