Fox Game of the Week: August 2 2008

The LA Angels are the best team in baseball, so it’s no surprise that they get the majority of Fox’s attention for their 3:30 Game of the week this Saturday. In fact, looking at these markets, it looks like Fox covered all their bases in deciding which games to put in each market. Granted, I’m sure a few Yankees fans in Atlanta or Royals fans in Raleigh won’t be too happy about Fox’s choice, but all in all we can’t expect too much dissent from loyal baseball fans.

That said, don’t let me dissuade you from expressing your discontent in the Comments Section below. In fact, I encourage it.

Here’s the skinny:

  1. Drew Says:

Hmm. There’s a discrepancy here, because on the Fox website, they still only have Angels-Yankees & Brewers-Braves listed. Since when did they pick up that hotly contested rivalry known as the White Sox vs. the Royals? Unless they’re kowtowing to Ken Griffey Jr. That’s my only guess.

  2. Chucky Says:

Fox added White Sox-Royals 3 weeks ago, well before the ChiSox traded for Griffey.

Even with that star power the ChiSox game won’t be seen in most of the country — not even in Cincinnati or Seattle.

  3. Mike Says:

    The Royals on FOX??
