HDNet Fights adds DREAM to their MMA Schedule
HDNet has announced a new deal to broadcast a series of Mixed Martial Arts fights, known as DREAM from Japan. There are now a total of ten upcoming HDNet live events on the MMA HD Schedule, including six DREAM events.
HDNet is trying hard to satisfy the hunger for high definition coverage of mixed martial arts on non-pay-per-view. HDNet Fights features a variety of MMA programming, including events from prominent organizations, such as the IFL and Strikeforce. They have promised to broadcast over 24 live high definition mixed marital arts events this year.
Given the slew of recently announced MMA HDTV events, including the CBS EliteXC Saturday Night Fights, we have added a separate schedule for Mixed Martial Arts under the Other Sports Schedule.
We know that there are also some high def MMA events covered on VERSUS, but we are still trying to obtain confirmation about which fights on their schedule are being carried live. If anyone has any info, let us know.
