MLB on Fox: August 16 Game of the Week
After broadcasting just two simultaneous games last week, Fox has returned to its traditional 3 game system for the Saturday August 16th Game of the Week.
Again this week, the Angels get a big chunk of the US market as they take on the Indians. This marks the 8th time the Angels have been featured in Fox’s Game of the Week, and the third time in a row. Two of the last three times the Angels have been featured, they have been broadcast to a majority of American homes.
For those of you not following along at home, Fox simultaneously broadcasts three HD MLB games at 3:30 PM EST each week. Market breakdown is determined by Fox, who decides which game they think is most relevant to your region.
For those unlucky fans unable to see their home teams play, there’s the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at 3 PM on ESPN 2, and the Little League World Series on ESPN at 1 and on ABC at 3:30.
