MLB on Fox Listings for Saturday, July 26
Well, for everyone who was unhappy last week about the Red Sox being broadcast to a larger market audience than the Phillies, despite being the less-important game of the week, Fox has a message…
They heard you, and they’re doing it again.
Blame it on the fact that Yankees vs. Red Sox is one of the most storied rivalries, or the fact that it’s just going to be the better game, but Fox is airing the Yankees and the Red Sox to most of the country, leaving the Braves and Phillies with the leftovers.
Say what you will, here’s the market breakdown:
| Fox High Definition Game of the Week; July 26 | |||
| DESCRIPTION | BROADCASTERS | COVERAGE | |
| Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees | Joe Buck, Tim McCarver & Ken Rosenthal | 85% | |
|
|||
| Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies | Matt Vasgersian & Mark Grace | 15% | |
|

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for the fox local breakdown all week and cant find it anywhere. Where did you find it? I’m a native NYer living in Jax, FL and im stuck watching the crappy braves. I’m trying to see how far I need to drive to watch the best rivalry in sports. FOX SUCKS for Saturday baseball…..

John–
We get Fox Game of the Week updates every week from our contact at Fox. After we get them we post them here and send them out in our Weekly E-Mails.
Usually we get this info on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon before that week’s games.

ok, thanks. I was looking for the breakdown by each city. You have the major metro areas listed but I was looking for the detailed list. They have it for week 15 but not this week (16).

They heard you, and they’re doing it again — indeed! The Marlins are chasing the Phillies in the NL East, yet Fox sends the Yankee game into South Florida and Palm Beach.
If you wonder why Florida considers football more important than baseball, look no further than Fox’s baseball coverage.

At least this week the Yankees and Red Sox game has a lot more relevance than previous weeks. And it also has relevance to Florida because there’s that other team there called the Rays.

ok, now im confused. The listing above says Jacksonville, FL has game 2 but this link with Fox’s detailed city by city list shows Jacksonville as having game 1. But my directv guide shows braves vs phils. Any ideas here.

That’s the Fox schedule updated as of Thursday night. South Florida and Palm Beach are now getting the Braves-Phillies game.
Either those 2 markets got a lot of viewer complaints and/or Fox has someone visiting this site.
