Fox locked in these games before the All-Star break. The Braves began to fall out of contention in early August.

Think it's bad now? For 9/13 Fox has scheduled Braves-Mets instead of Rays-Yankees.

2 words...Suck.Suck.

I love baseball, but I hope I never have to suffer through another broadcast with these 2 clowns! At one point they forgot they were a Sox game, they thought they were at Wrigley. They spent what seemed like minutes discussing issues completely unrelated to the game. and they seemed to have little understanding of the game or the players.

On a positive note, they were, however, good at rattling off stats they got from a script.

Any one of the dozens of baseball analysts from ESPN could've easily done a better job with NO prep time.

This is not pre-season football, it's 2/3 of the way done with numerous playoff races that will go right down to the wire. Fox may have good coverage of NASCAR and the NFL, but baseball fans are smart, very smart, and we see right through this little song and dance.

I might be wrong but this will be the first time in History Fox will Broadcast a Tampa Bay Rays Game!!

Up to this point the 2008 Rays are the Best Team in Baseball, even thought the have three of the Best Players injured. Carl Crawford, E. Longoria and Troy Percival. Obviously the Season is not over yet, however who would have thought the Rays would be this good??? The 1979 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from worst to First! The Tampa Bay Lightning win a Stanley Cup, The Tampa Bay Storm won a National Championship in Arena Football. Tampa Bay Sports Fans always said "The Rays are next"! Now, they are right!

But I have Kenny Albert! (Just kidding...he's OK). The question is, why do the Braves and Cards get a Saturday slot? I suppose they are in "striking distance", but the other two games are much more compelling. How far in advance are these games awarded by Fox?
