NCAA Baseball World Series: June 14-25
ESPN and ESPN2 will be presenting all games of the 2008 NCAA Baseball World Series in high definiton. While the Championships began last week with standard definition coverage of the Regionals and Super Regionals, as many as 17 games of the College World Series Round will be in HD, starting Saturday, June 14th.
This is ESPN’s 29th year covering the College World Series, and the sixth straight year all of the games will be covered between ESPN and ESPN2. Unlike prior years, the entire “best-of-three” Championship Final Series will be broadcast in primetime Monday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 25.
The “Super Regionals” ended last night, rounding out the field of teams which will participate in the “World Series Round”. Eight teams, divided into two groups, will play through the double elimination World Series to earn a spot in the Final Series.

Game 1 is in 480i and upconverted on ESPNHD… anyone know what’s going on?

I am very disappointed with ESPN. You watch all week the world series and on the most important day comes up to see who will be in the series. ESPN is not covering the game. ESPN should have known there was a possibly that there would have to have a play off game and they did not prepare for this. Hope someone takes it next year.

Today the fresno states game was on espn classic. does anyone know what espn channel the next two game s will be on??
