Local affiliates will start their coverage with different games during each “window” depending on regional interest. In the home markets of the competing teams or areas where there is a high interest in one particular game, CBS will broadcast a “constant feed”. However, most markets will feature “whip-around” coverage, where the game being broadcast may change based on the competitiveness of the match up compared with other games which are being played.

We were greatly disappointed in the coverage tonight and the hopping back and forth to games. It was very annoying. We are in Illinois and are obviously interested in the Big 10. We barely saw any of the Ohio State game. This by far was the worst coverage that we have seen. You should stay with the games that are of interest to a region and not interrupt play. Truly very disappointing. We might as well go back to the radio.
