NFL Coverage on Sunday October 5
Week 5 of the NFL kicks off Sunday and it’s a Sunday packed with HD football. CBS has picked up 7 games in its doubleheader and Fox has 5 games. Be sure to follow the links to the maps to see which games are airing in your area.
It’s a good thing CBS went into full high definition this year, because last year it would not have been able to put all 7 games in high definition, as it can now. CBS will air 4 games in HD during the 1 pm window and then the last 3 games will air at 4:15.
Fox will be broadcasting 5 games regionally to US markets. Unlike CBS, however, it is not treating the 1 pm and 4pm games as separate windows. If your market is receiving a 1 pm game, you will not be able to watch the 4pm NFL game on Fox. Be sure to follow through to the maps to see which game you’re getting.
As always, the 8pm NBC game will be in HD and broadcasting nationally, so there’s no need for a map. Again our thanks go out to JP Kirby at the506.com for all his hard work putting these maps together.

Giants vs Seahawks is not being broadcast in HD in my area of Boise Idaho. The channel is Fox KTRV. I have seen this in the past. What is the issue?

Having the same problem in Rochester, NY - both on cable (Time Warner Rochester) and OTA. How can this be????

The Redskins/Eagles games wasn’t in HD on WFXR. Is this site accurate?
