The Nfl is going the way Baseball did. When the games are not televised on regular TV Channels, the kids lose interest and like baseball there will be a next Generation that grows up doing something else, and Football will become a thing of the past. Don't believe me? There are baseball fields all over every town in America, because when we were kids there were none. We made it happen. Then MLB decided to put the games on so late that we couldn't stay up to watch them, then the games went to special channels. We didn't watch them, our kids didn't either. They don't even know the game, so all those fields are empty. Take a look some time. DOn't show Football on common channels, and the next generation will forget this game, too.

I think the NFL is hurting itself with requiring cable suppliers to sign up for their telecast. That is no way to treat it's fan base. I would think that ESPN, TNT, or even TBS would jump at a chance to put the NFL on whenever it was available.

This is BS! No Bears game broadcast outside Chicago. The games need to be broadcaste on a real network. Screw it. I'm not paying my cable company extra so I can see a football game. I think I can find a new hobby. Goodbye NFL!

Yes, there are local-market simulcasts. Tonight's game is simulcast on KWGN-2 in Denver and My43 in Cleveland.

If NFL Network is blacked out it's because your cable company doesn't carry that channel.

I believe so, but only if the home team's market sells out. I know it's on local WUAB in Cleveland, so NFL Network will probably be blacked out in Cleveland.
