NBC Announces 2008 NHL Playoff Schedule
NBC has announced their schedule for the 2008 NHL playoff games to be broadcast in high definition. The last game of the 2008 NHL regular season is on April 6, and NBC will be airing their first NHL Playoff game in HD on April 12.
Much of the playoff picture is still up in the air, as many teams use this last week to play their way into the Race for the Stanley Cup. Check our NHL Season Schedule to see which games you’ll need to watch.
The first games in HD–the Conference Quarterfinals–will be broadcast at 2:00 PM April 12. The teams, as well as the location, will be determined once the regular season ends. For now, here’s the tentative schedule, with teams to be filled in as the playoff picture sures-up.

Those last two dates should be June, not July.

Hello there,
Is NBC only going to carry five of the seven games? Does Versus have two somewhere, if so, which games of the finals will they have?

According to NBC, the first two games of the Stanley Cup have yet to be scheduled, as they could be moved up as the Finals approach. We’ll keep the guide as updated as we can as the Finals get closer, but all 7 games will almost definitely be on NBC.
