NHL Schedule Updated for 2008-2009
UPDATE: 10/7/2008 Homcom has updated the high definition 2008-2009 NHL Schedule over on the Homcom Blog
The Regular Season of the 2008-2009 NHL Season starts Saturday October 4th and the entire HD Schedule is now available at HDSportsGuide.com/NHL.
Both National and Regional games are available, but you can always sort out the regional games and get just the National NHL Listings
In the US, Versus and NBC are the major carriers of the NHL this season. According to our count, Versus is slated to carry 54 HD NHL Games between October and April. NBC will be picking up 27 games, but only after January rolls around.
As always, the schedule is apt to change, but we’ll update the guide daily. Comments and feedback are welcome regarding omissions or errors. Please email us at feedback @ hdsportsguide.com or leave comments regarding any mistakes.
Enjoy the season.

So is HDNet not carrying NHL games anymore?

Looks like NBC is going regional again this year and not FLEX GAME.

I have emailed Mark Cuban and HDnet seperately re: NHL broadcasts. No reply. The nhl website still lists them as a network but no games are listed. Maybe they’re working on a new contract but it sure seems like it’s getting late.

NHL network has posted season schedule. 75 games (all in HD) and they’re taking over Saturday night (hockey night in canada broadcasts). That used to be one of hdnet’s nights. Looks like maybe hdnet is out of the hockey broadcasts?

No HDNET hockey….and
No NHL Network here in
Dallas/Fort Worth as
TimeWarner does not carry it…plus they do not offer HD on their NHL Center Ice
Package.
Looks like I should have bought DirectTV or DishNetwork…
