November 1 College Football Coverage Maps

The College Football Maps for this week have been released, and two of the four ABC 3:30 games will be in HD. ESPN will carry the reverse mirror, airing only 1 HD game. As far as ABC goes, as long as you’re on the East Coast, you’ve got HD coverage. Otherwise, sorry.

Though ABC is simulcasting 4 games to various US markets, only the Florida State vs Georgia Tech games and the Iowa vs Illinois games are in high definition. As you can see from the maps, these regions are comparatively small when you look at how many people (almost everyone west of the Mississippi River) are watching standard definition on ABC.

For everyone not getting ABC HD, at least you can get HD on ESPN, most likely. Iowa vs Illinois airs in HD to a huge portion of the country in HD, but the great lakes region will get Florida State vs Georgia Tech in SD.
