You forgot to mention BTN's games again. They're doing 3 HD games this weekend. I don't know why (I guess because its the last week of the season), but they're not doing a noon game as usual. Instead they're doing 2 games at 3:30, then 1 at 7:00.

Smitty,
ESPN-HD only has one national feed, unlike the standard def version which can be split in so many areas. Maybe it deals with satellite bandwith or what not, but for the majority of time, ESPN is only transmitting one game at a time, so it might not feel worth it to dedicate another feed just for the few times a year that it does.

The reason that ESPN-HD has the ACC game (instead of the Big 10 game) is that nearly the whole country is already getting the Big Ten game in HD on ABC. I know it doesn't help that much, but a few years ago, if you lived out of the Big Ten territory, you would either have to goto a bar or watch the game for $22 on ESPN Gameplan before the Big Ten signed a contract making its 3:30 games effectively national.

Incidentally, the reason that the PAC 10 game is in standard def is for a similar reason as ABC only has capability to transmit 2 HD feeds at one time. Unlike Fox or CBS, due their NFL simultaneous feeds, ABC (and probably NBC, but I"m not sure) has no need more than 2 HD feeds at at time (East and West).

Why is the MSU/PSU game on STD DEF ESPN???? It is shown on ABC-HD in most markets, but for those that have to use ESPN, we have to use the SD channel? WHY????????????? ESPN-HD will have some fill-in crap. Why not show it on both????
Pisses me off because I see ZERO reason for it. I pay but HD, I want HD.
