October 18th College Football
It’s early yet, but the schedules for this coming Saturday’s College Football are being finalized. We’ll know as early as tomorrow about regional broadcasts and coverage maps, but for now feel free to check ESPN and ABC’s possible lineup.
As of now we have all of the ESPN and ABC games listed as being in high definition, but once coverage maps are released we’ll be able to tell for certain which games will be in high def and in which areas. For now, though you’ll just have to see the listings and get your hopes up that your game will be available in your area.
Big Ten has only published a one game 12 o’clock schedule for now, as opposed to its usual broadcast schedule which has up to four games which are broadcast regionally according to interest. This could change of course, but as of right now if you get Big Ten, there’s only one game being broadcast at noon on Saturday.
Finally CBS has yet to annonce any national HD college Football games, but we’d be surprised if they didn’t carry at least one this coming Saturday. Then again, we’ve been wrong before.
UPDATE:I was wrong. CBS has announced that Ole Miss vs Alabama will air at 3:30 on Saturday

CBS announced last week that Alabama/Ole Miss would be their 3:30 game.

Couple errors:
BYU plays TCU at 8 p.m. (ET) on Thursday. Michigan plays PSU at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The game is on ESPN. ESPN2 will have reverse mirror coverage and that game is not shown in HD. Ohio and Temple aren’t playing on ESPN2. The 8 p.m. ESPN2 game is Virginia Tech at Boston College (in HD).
