Saturday Night Fights: MMA on CBS and Showtime
On July 26, Showtime and CBS will broadcast Elite XC MMA starting at 8:00 PM EST in high definition. In all, there will be 7 fights split between the two networks. Coverage starts on Showtime and switches to CBS at 9 PM.
On Showtime HD at 8 PM EST, EliteXC MMA starts with the Heavyweight Championship featuring Antonio Silva vs a fighter to be determined. There will also be two more fights on Showtime which have yet to be announced. Stay close to the HDSportsGuide MMA Schedule to see information on fights as they are announced.
Following the Showtime coverage, EliteXC MMA moves to CBS, where there will be four live high definition mixed martial arts fights. One of the fights has not yet been announced, but the headline bouts include middleweight fighters Robbie Lawler vs Scott Smith and welterweights Jake Shields and Nick Thompson. Also on CBS, lightweights Nick Diaz vs Thomas Denny.
