US Open Series on ESPN2 & Tennis Channel
ESPN 2 and the Tennis Channel have both announced plans to cover the US Open Series qualifying matches for the US Open, which starts on August 25th. ESPN 2 will be broadcasting both live and prerecorded events, but has not yet made a full HD schedule available. The Tennis Channel, however, has released their schedule through the end of the 6 week US Open Series.
While it’s not certain which ESPN 2 events after these will be in HD, here’s the full list of tournaments ESPN 2 and the Tennis Channel will be broadcasting. Be sure to check back for frequent updates to the US Open Tennis schedule as we get more information.

Please, please read the message boards on USA Network for the US Open…I think you will find it very interesting, especially when considering what commentators you will hire for the coming years of coverage. The world tennis fans are speaking out and praying someone will listen Thank you.

I was hoping ESPN would do Tennis justice. The commentators are for the people at home watching not for them to get in to a conversation between themselves. They as former players have no idea and keep talking during points. I wonder what they would have said when they were playing if they heard commentators voices. It is pretty bad when one has to have a finger on the mute. Cahill and Carillo are the worst. Please do something. it’s about time tennis fans, who know the game were listened to.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I was disappointed in S. Williams’ behaviour and Federer’s, but please note that the announcer Cahill (?) who talks like an Englishman or Auzzie said the world “hell” in his talking more than once. Maybe he should be fined for using cursing during the US Open.
