Seems no HD US Open with cablevision this year ;’[. Only the stuff on CBS. Still no USA HD.
August 25th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
why is cablevison not providing the USA network in HD?

I was very disappointed last night. No HD coverage on Comcast in NJ. Last year, all the USA coverage was on one of those all HD channels, UHD (Universal HD) 206, 208, or 201.
Tennis is HD is functionally the best HD sports out there. Come ON!

No HD coverage on Time Warner in San Diego either it seems! Last year we had in on Universal HD and this year we briefly had a USA HD channel but now it’s disappeared. Those fuquerres!!

Did Direct TV put a block on HD on Cable? I notice that it is the Direct TV blimp that is hovering over the Open this year.

This stinks I get HD on USA but not on local CBS? What gives here?
Very disapointed with CBS…

Johnny Mac said that this would be their 25 and final year on USA. What was that about? Just saw an article on Google that said the re-upped for another 6 years. What’s the story?

Next year, the Tennis Channel and ESPN will split the broadcasts currently on USA. CBS will retain the network broadcast rights.

Where was the cable coverage of the women’s final between Serena Williams and Dinara Safina last night? We’ve been able to watch most of the major quarter and semi-finals, but not the final!
And now I can’t find any Comcast cable listing on the TV for tonight’s match with Federer and Murray – how come?

does anybody know if the women’s final was (or will be) rebroadcast?
