Wimbledon Championships in HD on ESPN 2/NBC

CORRECTION 6/23/2008 at 7:00 PM ET: It appears that our contact at ESPN had bad information and the coverage on ESPN2 is upconverted standard definition widescreen, not high definition. See the 2008 Wimbledon High Definition Schedule for the correct coverage on NBC.
ORIGINAL POST BELOW
The 2008 Wimbledon Championship starts on June 23 on ESPN 2 at 7:00 AM ET. Broadcasts will be shared between NBC and ESPN2 through the end of the Wimbledon Championship on July 6. All coverage will be available in high definition this year.
ESPN 2’s Wimbledon broadcasts begin with “Early Round Coverage” on Monday through Friday the 27th, after which NBC HD picks up coverage on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th. ESPN2 and NBC will be alternating broadcasts throughout the rest of the tournament, so be sure to reference the Wimbledon HD Schedule below for times and channels.
Information on whether Wimbledon would be available in high definition has been slow to surface, but we have coonfirmed that the 2008 Wimbledon Championship will be broadcast in HD on ESPN 2 and NBC. This is also the first year of a multi-year agreement where the Tennis Channel will broadcast “Wimbledon Primetime” every night at 7 PM ET. This primetime special will not feature live Wimbledon play, but highlights and re-broadcasts in high definition.
Be sure to check back with HDSportsGuide.com throughout the Wimbledon Championship for updates and additions as we get them from the networks. See below for the full, confirmed Wimbledon Championship HD Schedule.

Is there a way to change the schedule automatically to reflect Pacific Time?
Thank you.

I am watching the espn2 schedule for tomorrow on espn.go.com and it shows that coverage on espn2 starts at 9pm(E.T) tomorrow.
June 22nd, 2008 at 6:48 pm
9pm eastern time in the US is 2am across the pond.
I checked hd.espn.com and it shows 7am, but espntv.com shows 9pm like you said. My guess is that ESPN is having a glitch.

Why does the coverage look like its in SD Widescreen?
June 23rd, 2008 at 6:29 pm
Turns out ESPN2 Coverage is in standard definition widescreen, NOT high definition as we were told by our contact at ESPN.

ESPN2 Wimbledon coverage is leaving a lot to be desired. Everytime I start watching one match they skip over to another. I’m watching Safin today and then I’m over to Ferrer. Same goes with Williams and Mauresmo. They’re looking more like a network than a sports channel. I was really looking forward to their coverage but now I’m hoping they’re not doing the US Open, too.

I am so furious. I thought there was an agreement among TV channels to not report score of Federra quarterfinal because it was broadcast at 10:00. ESPN 2 reported it at 9:00a.m. central time.
