2009 Stanley Cup Finals on NBC
As we have three pivotal game sevens in the NHL coming up, we figured a post about the Stanley cup finals would be appropriate. NBC has announced the dates they will be covering the NHL Stanley Cup finals. They will be covering games one and two as well as games five six and seven if necessary. NBC will also Carry two Conference finals games.
Versus will be covering games two and three, and it kind of makes you wonder what Lord Stanley would think if he knew that his cup could be hoisted on Versus in the case of a potential sweep.
Update: Time magazine agrees check out this article.
Below are the dates and times for the games that will be on NBC for the Stanley Cup Finals
**Update because the conference finals were such a dud they are going to start the Stanley Cup Finals earlier than we had posted previously. Below are the updated dates and times for the NBC games. For the full schedule check here

In the http://www.hdsportsguide.com/news/2009/2009-stanely-cup-final-schedule-in-hd/ post we talked about it not being for sure but because the NHL won’t have to go head to head with a game 7 in the NBA and the rest of the games star then that’s our best guess. We will update it as we get more info.

It’d be nice if the hockey elites would have a Cup winner crowned while the weather was still cold. June hockey is just plain idiotic.
