ABC Coverage Map for November 14 Primetime Games
Two games will be on ABC this weekend in the prime time slot. This is the ABC coverage map for November 14 featuring Notre Dame at #12 Pittsburgh that will go to 83% of the country and Texas Tech at #19 Oklahoma State which will go to 17% of the country.
If you get it you might want to turn into CBS College Sports during this time slot. The #4 TCU horned frogs are taking on the #16 Utah Utes in a game that will probably decide the BCS hopes of two teams (Boise State and TCU). And TCU will also be wearing the worst uniforms ever
, which is always fun (well actually worst pants and helmets).

I live in Tennessee. I am not interested in East Coast Football. Give us the Texas Tech – Oklahoma State game. I much prefer to watch southern teams.

If I wanted to watch Notre Dame, I’d watch NBC. It’s insane to put them on ABC as well. Play Texas Tech in Mississippi!

Well I guess ABC figured they would want the nation to see how and why Charlie Weiss will get fired this year from ND, there so many other games inlcuding the 3:30 ABC games that should be in primetime other than this one. GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

I can’t believe that ABC would pick a low scoring boring Notre Dame game over two action pack offenses, which last time in Stillwater combined for 96 pts and 1300 yards of total offense. Now that is going to be an exciting game!

Pitt is one of the major stories of this college football season. Notre Dame has a number of future NFL first round draft choices.
Pitt-Notre Dame is one of America’s great football rivalries. California should be able to see it.

Are you kidding me? Is it not enough that we have to watch Notre Dame every week of the year on NBC but now they preempt most of the nation from seeing one of the best offensive shootouts of the year. Come on ABC…give some other schools a chance to be seen.

I live in Tucson. I would much rather watch exciting Big 12 football than Notre Dame get beat again.

I live in a small town in Texas and love to watch ND games. I have the utmost respect for ND’s academic requirements on all their athletes. Unfortunately we are blocked and can’t get the ND game this weekend. Why can’t ESPN2 televise the game instead of ABC?

All you ND haters that cry about them being on NBC every home game don’t have to watch. NBC doesn’t broadcast any other football so get over it. This week its an ABC decision. More people care about ND vs. 8-1 Pitt than Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State. Outside of TX and OK that game isn’t even on anyone’s radar. Get over it.

I agree with Todd. I’m a Pitt graduate stuck down here in
San Antonio where the only things that matter to the local press are the Spurs (I hate pro basketball) and the so-called Big 12. I’m sick of UT and the Longhorns. Who really cares about Texas Tech
and Oklahoma State. The Pitt-Notre Dame rivalry goes way back,
and there is a heckuva lot more interest nationwide in that game than TT vs OSU. The network has made a bad decision.

I do not understand why the TCU/Utah game will not be covered tonight on ABC. TCU is ranked 4th in the country and has a legitimate case to be in a BCS bowl if not a national championship. None of the teams scheduled: Pitt, ND, Texas Tech, or Oklahoma St. will be in a BCS bowl at the end of the season. We have to watch the ND/Pitt game because both ND and the Big East are overrated.

I’m so tired of overrated Notre Dame. They suck and no one really cares about Pitt anyway. OSU and TT are two explosive teams this should have been national coverage and not regional. Bad job ABC, Cowboys would draw more viewers!

I just don’t see why the alternate ESPN channels can’t be used considering this is ABC. The Irish have been on TV a lot as always but this has the makings of a better game than most (talking about the Big Ten ones especially). Is it a PPV thing? I shouldn’t have to go to a bar for this one but I guess ABC’s pushing me to drink…

Notre Dame is overrated. Who cares? They haven’t been nationally relevant for several years.
Aren’t all of Notre Dame’s games televised on NBC anyway? This is a crock. The OSU/TT game will be so much better.
Can’t the ND/Pitt game be on one of the fifty ESPN channels instead?
