thats crap! i want oregon vs arizona and im in gainesville getting kansas vs texas!

  2. steve Says:

Don’t worry, the UT-Kansas game will be over by halftime and ABC will probably switch everyone over to the Oregon-AZ game pretty early

  3. Griff Says:

Dave at least you can scout the Horns if your Gators make it to the big game.

  4. Vic Prince Says:

Why do you constantly beam in Pac 10 games to the North and East (65%) when Kansas versus Texas is could be shown (35%)?

Are you guessing their interest or just publisizing the Pac 10? Seems like you would occasionally pipe the Big 12 to the North and East.

  5. FRANK Says:

Whole country should be yellow. Arizona Oregon is a huge game. Texas will be up by 35 in the first quarter, who wants to see a blow out when you got the pac 10 championship on the line.

  6. Frank Doyle Says:

Why the bleep does boston get stuck with ut/ku???

  7. Dave Says:

If Texas was playing a more competitive team, that game would get more play nationally than Oregon/Arizona. The PAC 10 is a wide open race right now….Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, and Stanford are all in the hunt. And the PAC will get more prime time exposure on ABC over the next few weeks with Stanford-Notre Dame next week and Arizona-USC going to the whole nation in the afternoon on December 5th

  8. Alex Says:

Texas/Kansas should not be shown outside of Texas and Kansas. Texas will destroy them. Oregon/Arizona will be a competitive game, but the Mighty Ducks will prevail

  9. Charlie Scene Says:

    Oregon will destroy Arizona

  10. Jeff Says:

I wouldn’t usually have a problem with having to go Gameplan and pay to see Texas and Colt mcCoy break the all-time win record by a college QB but why isn’t Gameplan in HD? That’s amazing in 2009.

  11. MIke Says:

Texas – Kansas should be a national game, this guy McCoy is about to set the all-time NCAA record for most wins as a quarterback! He’ll probably end up with 45 or 46 total.

Records are made to be broken, but just how likely is it for another QB to come in as a freshman, average 11.5 wins a season and stay in college all four years without turning pro?

This is an awesome accomplishment, can you imagine parts of the country not getting the Cal Ripken game where he broke Lou Gehrig’s record?

  12. max Says:

ABC Sucks, I’m so sick of you go a way. why can’t we have a choice of who we want to watch…why do we have bow to your “Wisdom” . meaning you don’t really know squat…UT is usally among your higher rated broadcast and you choose to force feed us the pac 10 lovely…the only thing wrse than the bcs is abc….but not by much

  13. tug Says:

why does boston get ut/ku… its not like this place is a texas hotbed… nor is it a zona hotbed but i mean which games more important and will be tighter… obviously not ut/ku texas will win by halftime and it will be 48-0 at halftime. i mean ku hasnt won in freakin 5 games

  14. Jay in DC Says:

I think the coverage of these games was determined fairly well:

Pac 10 fans want to see the Pac 10 game

Big Ten fans want to see who will be playing OSU in the Rose Bowl

Big 12 fans want to see the Big 12 game

SEC fans want to see Texas, who will probably play FL or AL in the National Championship game

Big East & ACC region is split based on how the games potentially effect their likely bowl opponents (granted this appears rather arbitrary and the Boston area getting the Big 12 game is puzzling)

Obviously, the best solution would be to Reverse-Mirror these games, so everyone could choose which one they wanted to watch. Unfortunately, there’s always someone who is going to get screwed on TV coverage. Personally, I’m a lot more interested in the UO-AZ game, so I’m glad I’m getting that one in DC…

  15. Evan Says:

Why can’t I choose the game I want to see? To get the UT vs. KU game, I would have to drive from Minneapolis, where I live, to Fargo(ish!) or Des Moines to view the game!

  16. PJ Says:

Oregon over Texas in 65% of the coverage area when Colt McCoy is on the verge of setting a record for wins, Texas is in the title hunt.. and Coach Mangino is on the hot seat. This viewing plan stinks

  17. Patrick (Ca) Says:

HAHAHA, did someone really just say that ABC is “force” feeding the rest of the nation the Pac-10?? WOW, I’m almost at a loss for words…. That person must have an IQ of around -20… For those of you that dont know, ESPN is owned by ABC and for years and years, including this one, ESPN SLAPS THE WEST COAST IN THE FACE every weekend. ESPN routinely airs big10, sec, acc and big12 games all over ABC and ESPN outlets, while passing up BIG pac10 games.. just look at the schedule for their family of networks this weekend…. or any weekend…. lets see, minnesota v iowa, duke virginia, kentucky georgia, LSU miss, virginia clemson, penn st v mich st, vandi tennesee, nevada new mex, texas kansas, are YOU KIDDING ME???? Do you think anyone on the west coast (a quarter of the country mind you) really wants to see ANY those ridiculously subpar matchups over a game like #25 cal taking on #17 stanford?????? (in case you didnt know, the cal vs stanford is the only game between ranked opponents this weekend, AND it has rose bowl implications, AND it STILL wasnt picked up by any espn network)… you people BACK EAST have a lot of nerve and must be out of your mind to get pissed when the pac10 (one of the best conferences in football) finally gets a few air-dates… for the pac-10 title mind you.. We’ve been force fed YOUR SIDE of the country for years, wake up EAST COAST, theres more to the country than the eastern time zone, and theres a lot of good football going on out west.

  18. chris Says:

This is horseshit. I can understand playing oregon and zona on abc across most of the country for ratings, but why not broadcast the other on espn 2? Reverse mirror like they are the afternoon games. I mean what else would they show…hawaii vs san diego state or something…better yet, the world series of poker. ABC needs help!

  19. chris Says:

Oh patrick…do you research. ABC programming…not ABC, But the programming department is based in LA. They get the PAC10 on as much as they legally can. I say legally cause the PAC10 is not contracted with ABC/ESPN, they are contracted with FOXSPORTS as is Big 12 . Abc/Espn is contracted with Big10 and Second. When they air an all Pac10 or Big12 match…it cost them millions in payback to fox. The PAC10 is getting screwed in no way!

  20. mmoss2112 Says:

Just go to justin.tv or atdhe.net and look for the games you want to watch.

  21. Erin Says:

YOU SUCK ABC! (Almost) every time I want to watch Oregon they are preempted in my area (Florida) by some game of little to no consequence. why does ABC always presume FL wants to watch Big-10 or Big-12 football?

The PAC-10 always gets screwed – not just in TV coverage, but in terms of respect in the world of college football.

  22. MarineWifey Says:

what the F-K ABC 65% coverage of Oregon/AZ game and 35% of the UT/KS game!! GO LONGHORNS GO!!

  23. Jonathan Nguyen Says:

Go Jayhawks, glad to get to see them in Florida.. =)

  24. zach Says:

what song was that, that abc played during halftime as they were about to go to break and were talking about the pac 10??? driving me crazy!

  25. Steph Brown Says:

I just want to see a good close game and the Texas game is NOT. Why can’t we watch the Oregon game on the internet?

  26. richard Says:

you show the south east a florida st and maryland game of no interest when two ranked teams are playing. which are neb and texas am. why
