*updated* College Softball World Series on ESPN ESPN2 and ESPNU HD
The 2009 NCAA Division I softball tournament is set to begin May 15. With added coverage from ESPN U, this will be the most extensive coverage of the NCAA tournament to date. The family of ESPN networks will carry up to 48 games over the next few weeks including the entire college softball world series in HD.
With this extra coverage they are going to be at every super regional in preparation for the CSWS. There will be more information posted as the teams move toward the World series where the games will be in High Definition, but for now here is a printable bracket.
Since the whole college world series will be in HD we have imported those games here. The teams will be updated as the games get closer.
***Info on the Super Regional Coverage from ESPN can be found here.
Also here is a link to their press release.
**Another Update** They just released this schedule with the regionals and super regionals, some of which will be in HD.

Is there a way to turn down the crowd noise behind the commentators? I am watching the Alabama vs Jacksonville college softball regional game and I can barely hear the commentators b/c of all the crowd noise. There have been a few weird calls and I wanted to hear what the commentators were explaining, but I couldn’t. Thanks.

Can we replace Mr. Kruk with someone who understands softball? I love to watch the games, but the majority of his comments I can really do without hearing. Why is commenting on fingernail polish during an important game?

The pitcher from Flordia, Nelson is a great pitcher but flicking her hair after every pitch! It is so annoying to watch. Tie the hair back and play ball. Bad habit. Thanks.

John Kruk adds a great deal to softball series. He has been able to bridge he gap baseball and softball. Mr. Kruck’s role is necessary to attract new viewers.

i don’t need kruk injecting his favorite sport, baseball, into the softball game..he has a dislike for his assignment and it is showing..give the poor lady on the sidelines something to do she bothers parents and fans to do her stupid questions, like “do you hate to lose?”…softball is a growing spectator sport and the intell from true softball people is what it needs!

Clearly John Kruk has no clue about softball. If they want a male anouncer, pick a male softball coach. Softball players are team players, not whining spoiled overpaid selfish pro baseball players who are in it for self glory. John needs to find a new job far away from softball.
