If they don't advance, it should be a disappointment. The US-England match could be key; the winner of that match will likely win the group. US should aim for that, as the second place finisher in their group will likely face Germany in the Round of 16. If the US can upset Germany in that round, however, they'll likely avoid Argentina in the quarters and face beatable France or Greece (the possibility of a US-Mexico quarterfinal is intriguing too). Mexico have to be happy drawn in the host group (South Africa not being a strong team.) It's still not a given they will advance past France and Uruguay, but they should. Again, they should aim to beat France, else they will likely finish second and have to face Argentina in the Round of 16. Don't think there is a "Group of Death" this year but clearly the toughest group is G - Brazil, Portugal, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast, with top player Drogba), and Korea DPR (South Korea, ranked low in FIFA).
