MLB on Fox Regional Coverage for September 5

MLB on Fox has three games again this week. The most intriguing story lines this week are about the wild card chase. The Red Sox and Rangers are separated by three games for the playoffs. With them playing at the same time (but not playing each other) it will be intriguing to see if the rangers will be able to close that gap.

For the game in the NL the Giants are one game back in the wild card. With a good showing against the Brewers they could end the weekend either tied or ahead of the Rockies.

Side note about last weeks comments that Fox’s ratings might be cannibalized by college football. If the football games this Saturday are as bad as the Boise State Oregon game last night (although not likely with Ok St. Georgia game in the same window) I think Fox will be quite pleased when they see their ratings.
