MLB on Fox Saturday May 23 Regional Coverage
Interleague action this week on Fox. There will be two games broadcast this week. The big one getting 90% of the coverage will pit the world champion Philadelphia Phillies against the New York Yankees in the new Yankee stadium. Ten percent of the country will see an all Texas match up in Houston with the Astros taking on the Rangers.
A side note because I was able to go the the new Yankee Stadium this week. I was quite impressed with the atmosphere, there were two things playing into this:
1. I was sitting in the outfield.
2. There was a walk off single in the ninth.
Either way I was very surprised by the atmosphere, it was louder and more exciting than I would have expected. I don’t know if this was because I had very low expectations, but I had a great time, and the crowd even booed Donald Trump. After looking around through the blogosphere I don’t know if I was the only one who had a good experience there, but I did, and I would go back.
Anyway let me know if you’ve had a good experience there.
Well here is the regional breakdown

I was at the same game (Friday Night) behind the Twins dugout. Great seats, great view, great finish.
Did you see the during Fan Cam, when they showed a particularly buxom woman and they pulled her off the screen QUICK? LOL

Now I’m disappointed I missed that I’m guessing it was better than Trump.

It was actually a doubleheader of douche, because Trump was sitting with Bill O’Riely.
But Kareem was sitting in the Luxury boxes, so that was cool. To anyone in New York, it definitely was an experience and you must see the stadium.
What surprised me was that the old park was right next door and it did NOT look like an obsolete park. In other words, it didn’t look like Shea.

The new Yankee Stadium gets a bad rep for being quiet because the infield bowl seats are very overpriced and therefore are nowhere near full. The Yankees control the microphones and are not stupid enough to put them in the bleachers (especially right field) so it sounds much quieter on TV than in person.
