NBA Schedule Announced
The NBA schedule was announced today for the 2009-10 NBA season. We are working to get list of the HD broadcasts set up for this upcoming season, but need to wait for the teams to announce their broadcast schedules. The first place to look on the schedule is the annual ABC Christmas day games. This year they have a great lineup that will feature Boston at Orlando and Cleveland at LA. Both are solid picks and, of course, they will be in fabulous High Definition.
TNT will continue broadcasting their Thursday night doubleheaders, although they will play on Tuesday night the first night of the season featuring Boston at Cleveland. This kicks off the national TV slate on October 27. That night also has both LA teams facing each other with the clippers being showcased in one of the first games of the season. It looks like the League is putting a lot of excitement in Blake Griffin. Or they want to show him before he inevitably becomes selfish or gets hurt after being with the Clippers. All 53 TNT these games will be in HD.
ESPN will continue broadcasting games on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the season. Their first national games will be on Wednesday October 28 with New Orleans at San Antoion, and Utah at Denver. ESPN will broadcast 75 games throughout the 2009-10 NBA Season. The following teams will make the maximum allowable 10 appearances the, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, L.A. Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs. ESPN has flexible scheduling so some of these games may be changed.
NBATV will continue broadcasting games this year. They are set to schedule 72 games this year.
ABC will broadcast 15 games this regular season. Making a total of 215 national broadcasts this year.
Visit the National NBA HDTV Schedule to see only those games being played on national networks.
