2010 ESPN Thursday Night College Football Schedule
The ESPN 2010 Thursday night college football schedule has been released. As in previous seasons it has a heavy mix of Big East and ACC games. Also this season there will be additional games on ESPNU (scroll to the bottom to see the secondary games) in case there is a blowout on ESPN. As always the football season gets its big start with a match up on Thursday night. The opening national game will be Southern Miss at South Carolina, and here is to hoping that South Carolina makes it more fun than the NC State snoozer last year.
Some of the biggest games this year are Miami at Pittsburgh on 9/23, UCLA traveling to Oregon on 10/21 and Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech on 11/4. Then the season closes with two rivalry games, Texas A&M at Texas on 11/25 and Arizona St. at Arizona on 12/2.
I just want the season to start.

Why doesn’t ESPN air any Division 2 or Division 3 football games? I talking about the power-houses of the nation like University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Mt.Union D3 or D2 powerhouse Grand Valley State These guys could beat alot of the smaller D1 D1AA schools. If they played any of these smaller D1 D1AA schools they would win 5 times out of 10. Just a thought.
