Vancover 2010 February 23 Olympic Schedule
Tonight begins the most popular event in the winter Olympics: Ladies’ figure skating. South Korea’s Kim Yu-Na (2009 World Champion) will compete with Mao Asada of Japan, among others. Ladies’ Night continues with the Women’s Bobsled Competition, with sledders rocketing down the world’s fastest, newest track, the dangerous Whistler. Shauna Rohbock of Utah led her team to claim the silver in Torino, and hopes to make it gold this year. The Winter Olympics’ newest event– Ski Cross continues tonight with the Women’s Gold Medal Final. Headliners include French mother and competitor Ophelie David, and Canada’s own Julia Murray, daughter of Dave Murray, the late alpine skiing sensation Dave Murray, namesake of the 2010 course. Nordic Combined: Team Gold Medal Final is tonight as well– an event never-before won by Team USA. Tune in to see if that changes!
