Two games in the ABC split with no reverse mirror this Saturday. I am most intrigued by Kansas State and their lofty record going against the juggernaut that is Oklahoma State.

Here are the ABC/ESPN2 regional map for November 5 for the 3:30 PM games. As I see it we have two games that will probably not be within 50 points, and Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma which should be interesting.

ABC Regional Map 10/22 8:00 PM Games

For the 8:00 PM Games ABC does not have a reverse mirror. The games that will be televised are Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech and Washington at Stanford. Both of these games should be good. I am glad that I have ESPN3 access through the xbox so I can pick up the game out of my area.

Looking at the 3:30 PM Eastern time games there was one thing that stood out on the ABC regional map. There is one segment of Montana that is getting the Texas A&M vs. Iowa State game on ABC. Are there a lot of former aggies that live up there, or is it a strong base of Iowa State fans, or could it be a star QB from Montana is on one of the teams. If you have any insight on this, I would be interested to hear it.

Two games on ABC/ESPN in the 3:30 PM window. #6 Oklahoma Sate at#22 Texas and Ohio State at #16 Illinois will each be on ESPN and ABC depending on where you live. If you look at the map below, that is the game you will get on ABC, while the other game will be on ESPN.

I am actually strangely excited to watch this Ohio State game. I want to see if Joe Bauserman can put on a worse performance than last week. It is too bad this Ohio State team is not good, because I would like to see a measuring stick game for Illinois.

Here is the ABC regional map for 10/8. Most of the country will get the Iowa at Penn State game. I am most intrigued by the Kansas State vs Missouri game. I want to see if Kansas State is for real, and see if they can validate up their big win against Baylor last week.

October is here, and schools are starting to get into the swing of conference play. This week there are three different games in the 3:30 PM eastern window which means that fans who want to see the Georgia Tech and NC State game as well as Baylor vs. Kansas State in some markets will need to go to ESPN3 or Gameplan to find the games. Also, the dreaded SD only games are back on Dish Network. Boo.

ABC College Football Regional Map for 9-24

ABC/ESPN have released their map for the games for 9/24. Basically there is one great game and one snoozer. Good thing the reverse mirror is in HD this year, so now everyone in Big Ten country can watch the Oklahoma State at Texas A&M game.

ABC/ESPN College Football Regional Map 3:30 PM September 17

This week the college football reverse mirror will be on ESPN. With Washington at Nebraska basically in the north portion off the country with Texas at UCLA taking the south (as well as the northeast out of Big Ten Country).

It seems like Washington is playing Nebraska for the 10th time in the last 3 years, but really it’s only 3 times in the last 2 years. Texas at UCLA will be an interesting game with Texas having the new McCoy to Shipley combination.

College Football Coverage Map 9-3-2011

With two games in the 3:30 PM Eastern time window ABC is getting off to what I would call a slow start. The two games are #25 USC vs Minnesota and Michigan vs. Western Michigan. Most of the country will see the the trojans take on the Gophers in what is assuredly not going to be the rose bowl match up.

ABC/ESPN do have two great games on Saturday night though, with LSU vs. Oregon on ABC, and Boise State vs. Georgia on ESPN. I just wish they weren’t at the exact same time.
