CBS College Basketball Coverage Map for January 31

Here is CBS college basketball coverage map for January 30. The two games that will be featured this week in the 1:00 PM Eastern time slot are Minnesota at Ohio State going to 65% of the country and Florida at Tennessee which will go to the other 35% of the country.

Ravens vs Texans Moved to Monday Night

Thanks to Hurricane Ike, the NFL game originally scheduled for 4:15 Sunday on CBS has been moved to 8:30 PM Monday. According to CBS, the game will not be nationally televised on Monday night, but made available only to Baltimore, Washington and Houston markets, as well as some ’secondary markets.’

Is CBS College Sports HD a Joke?

The inaugural live high definition college football game was broadcast this afternoon on CBS College Sports, which was formerly known as CSTV. Hope you caught it. By our count, the network currently only has another 7 Live HD College Football games scheduled this season.

Official Confirmation: CBS All-HD for NFL (Sort of)

After months of speculation, rumors and a lot of people with crossed fingers, CBS has finally spoken up and confirmed that they will be producing all games in high definition. However, it is possible that all CBS NFL games may not actually be seen in their entirety in high definition.

The 2008 NFL preseason high definition coverage kicks off tonight with the NFL Hall of Fame Game on NBC Sunday Night Football. Then, “Hard Knocks” premiers Wednesday, August 6th at 10:00 PM ET. Unfortunately, still no word from CBS about whether they will be stepping up to full time coverage when the regular season starts.

This may be the first indication from an NFL partner that CBS will be producing all NFL games in HD this year.
