The Yankees host the Angels in the ALCS this year. The whole series will be on Fox, and as posted earlier some of the games will have earlier start times. This is going to be great, especially for everyone on the east coast because these games will not be going until well after midnight (hopefully).

Interleague action this week on Fox. There will be two games broadcast this week. The big one getting 90% of the coverage will pit the world champion Philadelphia Phillies against the New York Yankees. In the new Yankee stadium. Ten percent of the country will see an all Texas match up in Houston with the Astros taking on the Rangers.

Fox has again released its regional plans for the Saturday Game of the Week. We are going to start putting these up again like last year. This week two thirds of the country will get the Mets and Giants. The rest of the country will be split between the other two games.

It’s a week of firsts and lasts for Fox, as Saturday, September 27 marks the final regular season Game of the Week for 2008 and the first time the network will feature 4 simultaneously-broadcast games at 3:30. All 4 games have playoff implications, as the regular season comes to an end after this weekend and the Playoffs are set to begin on Wednesday.

It’s been a week of football firsts, but Fox is continuing its commitment to the MLB Game of the Week by releasing its coverage information for tomorrow’s game. Starting at 3:30 PM EST, Fox will be broadcasting three games simultaneously to different parts of the country.
