Mixed Martial Arts is back on Showtime, as the network prepares for ShoXC (EliteXC + Showtime = ShoXC) Friday, August 15th at 11 PM EST.

CBS and Showtime continue their EliteXC series this weekend as Robbie Lawler and Scott Smith set to square off in a rematch of the middleweight title at 9:00 PM on CBS.

The next few months will feature a number of live high definition mixed martial arts and boxing events that are sure to please fight fans. We updated our guide today to add several new Boxing and MMA events.

On July 26, Showtime and CBS will broadcast Elite XC MMA starting at 8:00 PM EST in high definition. In all, there will be 7 fights split between the two networks. Coverage starts on Showtime and switches to CBS at 9 PM.

Fight fans have been looking forward to this first ever primetime network television mixed martial arts event for some time. As we told you last month, the premier of CBS EliteXC Saturday Night Fights will be available in high definition, as any fight worth watching should be.

HDNet has announced a new deal to broadcast a series of Mixed Martial Arts fights, known as DREAM from Japan. There are now a total of ten upcoming HDNet live events on the MMA HD Schedule, including six DREAM events.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) will make its primetime network television debut on CBS, Saturday, May 31st at 9:00 PM ET. CBS and EliteXC have announced a partnership to broadcast four MMA Saturday Night Fights each year, and they will be available in 1080i high definition.
