The Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers start the NFL season tonight at 8:30. Al Michaels Cris Collinsworth and Andrea Kremer will bring you the action on NBC. John Madden has left his post with NBC, and will now be a “special advisor” to Rodger Goodell. Although we will miss him, Cris Collinsworth has done a great job, in our opinion, of giving good insights to the game and we are excited for him in this new role with NBC.

Week two of the NFL preseason begins today. This week and next week are when the starters get the most playing time, so if you are interested in watching your favorite teams these are probably the best weeks to tune in. Every game, including the live NFL Network games, will be shown on local broadcast channels. Jacksonville is the exception to this rule as their game will be blacked out unless they sell about 10,000 tickets for their game against the Buccaneers.

The NFL Preseason is finally here. This is the first time that we will be able to see every team (well, for a quarter at least). And for a preseason week, there are actually some good story lines. First of all is a Super Bowl rematch between Arizona and Pittsburgh. Larry Fitzgerald is fresh off his appearance on Dog the Bounty Hunter, and primed to have a huge year. There are also some regional games which are also fun and this week has a couple of them. There is a Florida match-up between Jacksonville and Miami as well the “battle of the beltway” with Baltimore hosting Washington.
