Also to the women, because I know probably better than anyone that women love figure skating.

NBC Olympic Basketball & Soccer Channels

Due to the popularity of Olympic Soccer and Basketball, NBC has dedicated two entire channels to covering the numerous live high definition games that these two sports have to offer. The NBC Olympic Basketball Channel will air 47 live games, and the Olympic Soccer Channel will air 16 live matches through August 23rd.

Olympics Kick-Off This Weekend

The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing kick-off this weekend, with the opening ceremony airing tonight. Considering the significant time difference between Beijing and the US, and the huge number of Olympic Events scheduled over the relatively short span of the games, knowing when certain events will be televised can be difficult. Over the next two weeks, we will be doing our best to provide an updated and accurate Olympics schedule, but we only care about live events in HD.

The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing start Friday 8.8.08 and broadcast schedules are still shifting as the games approach. It’s old news that the games will be exclusively on NBC Networks, but DirecTV and NBC recently made announcements hinting at a more defined broadcast plan.
